Winner of the ‘Existing’ category was Holger Schubert’s property located in Los Angeles. This property was designed with twin objectives, one being to create a pure and minimalist ambience that allows to present the car as a work of art and the second was to create the ultimate experience for the driver when he reaches home.

Schubert’s garage has the atmosphere of an art gallery and it is located on the upper level of a hillside extension of a 1953 ranch style home that overlooks western Los Angeles. Access too this garage is via a bridge, while a 1200 square foot space not just houses a car but has a large open space to place a sofa, a slide away TV and an in-built book shelf that is in front of a large room for storage. There is also a small kitchen, bathroom and a library. The latest version of the Maserati Gran Turismo Spyder will come without a retractable hard top, which is the usual trend among convertibles like the Ferrari California and some others. Confirmed reports from industry sources state that this one will have a typical soft top. The move to keep a soft top was a result of the poor sales of the Ferrari California. Some additional details of the Gran Turismo state that it will have the same power train and transmission as the coupe version.
